Fort Walton Beach Officer Honored for Saving Cardiac Arrest Victim

Fort Walton Beach Police Corporal Thomas Zbikowski received a lifesaving award at Tuesday's City Council meeting for his role in reviving Brian Meier, who suffered cardiac arrest in April. Zbikowski and first responders from Okaloosa County EMS and Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District performed CPR and used an AED for approximately 30 minutes to save Meier's life.
